Town of Bridger

Minors And Court

The Bridger City Court has jurisdiction over traffc, MIP and gambling violations committed by minors in town.  A review of MIP cases from 2002 through 2016 indicates that the odds that an entering freshman will end up in court on an MIP charge during their four years in high school are near one it ten.

It is helpful for people to be aware of their rights and have some idea of the court process before they appear in court.  Accordingly, the court has prepared a  PDF file reviewing basic information about the process when it involves a minor.
